Overview

Chicago isn’t just part of the story—it is the story. As the Creative Director and Art Director behind Jordan Brand | Chicago Stories, I led a multi-project initiative that rooted sneaker culture, music, sport, and design in Chicago’s creative energy. From boutique sneaker drops to citywide experiential activations, each campaign was designed to reflect authenticity, heritage, and culture-forward storytelling.

My Contribution

+ Directed creative development and visual identity across campaigns—from motion graphics to apparel design to digital activations.

+ Crafted narratives that elevated product releases into culture-rich stories rooted in Chicago.

+ Collaborated with local cultural icons and partners to amplify emotional resonance and drive authentic engagement.

+ Rebranding: Created the original logo and spearheaded the full rebrand of Succezz, refreshing the boutique’s visual identity to align with its premium positioning in the streetwear and sneaker market as they expanded into a new location. This included logo design, color palettes, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

Project Breakdown

Apparel & Promotional Assets

A strong visual ecosystem is at the heart of these stories. I created a suite of apparel designs—caps, tees, hoodies, and promotional mockups—that reflected each campaign’s identity. These visual assets were deployed across social, in-store displays, and event collateral, reinforcing the brand narrative while offering tangible lifestyle extensions of the campaigns.

Jordan 1: Rebellionaire

Teamed up with Succezz to launch the Jordan 1 “Rebellionaire.” This campaign featured DJ Word, Mike Irvin, and myself—bringing together the city’s sneaker, sports, creative, and music cultures. I shot the sports, created motion graphics, apparel, marketing visuals, and event promotions that blended a polished brand feel with street-level authenticity.

Terry Hunter

Nike Chicago Pack

For the Air Force 1 and Air Max 1 “Chicago Pack,” I partnered with Grammy-winning DJ Terry Hunter to root the campaign in the city’s legendary house music scene. The creative married the sneaker visuals with Chicago’s musical heritage, delivering a visually dynamic, culturally resonant narrative.

Jordan x Tyler Reddick

Nascar Street Race

Jordan Brand entered the first-ever Chicago Street Race with Team Jordan driver Tyler Reddick. I led the creative direction, weaving sneaker culture into motorsport visuals—uniting adrenaline, city grit, and brand storytelling into one high-energy campaign.

We’re a team of creatives who are excited about unique ideas and help fin-tech companies to create amazing identity by crafting top-notch UI/UX.
